Post in response to Amanda's question regarding the equipment I use. Recently added a Canon 30D to the list. Nice camera, despite the CCD failing part way through the last wedding I shot. (The bride and groom didn't need to know!). Was quickly replaced with no questions asked by the excellent vendor. Does me nicely. I always think that you should use a camera that is relative to the use it will get. A friend of mine uses a Canon 5D, but he is a pro!
On the left is the first SLR camera I owned, a Praktica MLT3 that my father bought for me when I was 13. Fully manual apart for the luxury of a built in light meter. Still, taught me how to use a camera properly!
So Amanda, I would say get a 30D if a 5D is beyond your budget or needs!

Oh, and by the way, a big Green yae! to all who attended last night's curry club. I'll ask Brich for a photo of the Turtle.
So, did anyone catch Antiques Roadshow? ;o)
Was the curry club fun?
Shame I missed it.
thank you!!! :)
Wow...Seigo's mouth will be watering when he sees this...
