Heard the bang at 6am - Hemel is about 30 miles away! The sun never burnt the mist away today, but I don't think that was anything to do with the smoke.
That explosion seems like it would have been scary. 30 miles away!
Anyway very interesting image. It almost looks like three very hairy people waiting for the sun to come out. Or maybe my imagination is running wild...
