I look at this picture and my senses are filled with fresh turned soil and cut grass. This makes me want to deal with the heat and work in my garden.

Jealous of me? This is a FANTASTIC shot! I love that you've made dirty fingernails your focal point! It makes me miss my landscaping job. Look at the detail of the fingerprints! Well done.

How can you do a photo of dirty nails and get all these compliments?!

But I concur..... makes one want to go till the earth.

Reminds me once of a bloke I knew many years ago. A friend of a relative. Deep in the East End and Docklands of London living in dirty houses and wherever. His eyes in particular were rimmed with dirt (like your dirty finger nails) but there was a certain beauty about him. An intrigue and a depth. I don't know what the dirt meant, apart from needing a darned good wash, but he was a picture. I would loved to have captured his look in a photo but I didn't and don't think I could have. He may be dead now from an OD.

LOL - I just clocked the menu on the side.... honoured to see my blog there but wondering if I would ever move from the "being stalked" to the "admired" lists? Ha-ha :-)

Very strong shot with a great sense of depth. The dirt of the fingernails really makes it, as I'm sure you know.

Not an untidy garden but a itchy bottom.
